This therapy is useful in the treatment of glaucoma and dry macular degeneration, two conditions with limited therapeutic options.
The treatment involves a trial session to determine whether the affected eye can benefit from the treatment and to determine the stimulation parameters. Ten 25-minute therapeutic sessions are then scheduled over a two-week period.
